Cherry Pipes Exhibit at RX3 Sustainable Innovation Forum
Rx3 hosted a Sustainable Innovation Forum on 27th April in Dublin, its purpose was to highlight thinking around sustainability and design, showcase recycled products and ideas that unite social, economic and environmental values. Cherry Pipes Ltd. staff were keen participants!
One of the days highlights was key note speaker Tom Szaky of TerraCycle, which upcycles waste into consumer products for companies like Wal-Mart and Home Dept. TerraCycle is one of the fastest growing US companies and Szaky has been named the number 1 CEO in America under 30. He delivered and an interesting and unusual tale of how he made his fortunes from worm waste.
Also present were six 'Green Dragons' who were there to judge 6 Waste Resource ideas with a cash prize on offer!
•60 Green Minutes: presentation of 6 Waste Resource ideas to 6 Green Dragons - based on the competition rx3 advertised at the start of this year.
•Student commercial design exhibits working with waste materials.
